Nicaragua Mission Trips

Individuals from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greeley, Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Longmont, and other persons made an Interfaith Nicaragua Project trip to Somoto, Nicaragua June 8-18, 2010. They held medical clinics, distributed eye glasses, distributed layettes and medical supplies at the local hospital, worked on construction of two homes for people in abject poverty, conducted Vacation Bible School, bought and distributed water filtration equipment, and interacted with Niños y Niñas del Futuro, a children's project we helped start, that is helping impoverished children and their families in numerous ways.
