From Our Friends

 Thank you for supporting the ministry of Global Mission and my work at Diakonia AIDS Ministry.  I have started a blog at http://joburgmoon.wordpress.com/ and will update it along the way instead of putting out a newsletter.  If you have any issues with web access please let me know and I'll make arrangements to communicate with you in a different way.  My first post has some information about my background and journey to this point.  If you have questions about me or Diakonia AIDS Ministry please just let me know.  I am beginning to focus my work with the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Department at Diakonia.  The last week of June we had Kids' Week, which is kind of like VBS, for the children receiving OVC case management.  I have not posted a blog about it yet but I feel it was a wonderful success, I may have had more fun than the kids.  I had the opportunity to look at the Immanuel church webpage and see you have supported Paula at LUCSA.  Soweto is in the same province as the LUCSA center, but further south.  I hope you all are doing well.
